Approved Investment Classes

All funds may invest in collective investment schemes operated by organisations approved by the relevant government agencies provided that the rules of the collective investment schemes restrict the schemes' investments to the permitted classes of investment of the Common Fund.

Cash Common Fund
(a) Cash (b) Fixed Interest. The fund is not permitted to use derivatives.

Short Term Fixed Interest Common Fund
(a) Cash (b) Fixed Interest (c) Public Trustee Cash Common Fund (d) Mortgages

Security lending arrangements in relation to authorised investments are permitted. The fund is not permitted to invest in derivatives.

Long Term Fixed Interest Common Fund

Underwriting as an investment instrument is prohibited. Security lending arrangements in relation to authorised investments is permitted. Investments in financial derivatives are permitted for the purpose of investment of funds or hedging or otherwise managing the risk of the fund.

Listed Property Securities Common Fund
(a) Cash (b) Securities issued by companies, unit trusts and other collective schemes where the holding of properties is the primary business activity (c) Public Trustee Cash Common Fund.

Security lending arrangements in relation to authorised investments is permitted.

The fund is not permitted to invest in derivatives.

Overseas Shares Common Fund
