Statutory Information

  1. A management fee is charged against money invested in each common fund at the rate of one-twelfth of one per cent of the value of the fund as at the first business day of each month. Investors pay the following fees when investing in common funds:

    For beneficiaries of estates administered by Public Trustee when funds would otherwise by distributed:
    0.5% of the monies lodged For all other investors: 1.0% of the monies lodged.
     
  2. Investors may withdraw all of their investment in an Investment Strategy at any time. Part withdrawals must be in amounts of $1,000 or greater, or the balance of funds being managed if the amount to be withdrawn reduces this balance to less than $5,000 for beneficiary investors or $20,000 for other investors. Proceeds of withdrawals from the Cash Investment Strategy of amounts less then $1 million will be available on the next business day. Proceeds of amounts greater than $1 million from the Cash Investment Strategy may not be available until the thirtieth business day. Proceeds of withdrawals from strategies other than the Cash Investment Strategy will not be available until fifteen business days following the next exit day (currently the first day of each month). Proceeds of withdrawals of amounts greater than $1 million from these Investment Strategies may not be available until the thirtieth business day after the next exit day.
  1. The net income and realised capital gains of each fund will be calculated to 30 June and 31 December and will be distributed to the investor in July and January of each year, unless the investor has given instructions to reinvest the money.
  2. Any realised or unrealised losses of a capital nature of an investment in a sector common fund shall be received or borne proportionately by investors in proportion to capital sums invested in the fund.
  3. The accounts of each sector common fund and any additional information required by section 30 of the Public Trustee Act is published as an Appendix to the Annual Report and will be made available to prospective investors as a separate document which is an extract from the Report.
